We are now in full blossom and it was such a beautiful sunny evening, I had to pop over and bring a few pictures of the four pods to you, as we are sadly missing our guests for a few weeks longer.

Barfield Farm featured as one of 12 places in this years March Observer Magazine article Where to find the UK’s most spectacular cherry blossom displays, we look forward to being able to share next years blossom instead.

The sunshine following rain this year has made an amazing display of blossom, with all the varieties (Colney, Lapin, Sunburst, Stella, Celeste, Sasha, Merton Glory, Early River, Napoleon, Penny, Inga, Hartford, Merchant, Bradbourne Blacks, Gaucher) in the main orchard in blossom at the same time – hopefully this will mean a good crop and we will get to see you all for cherry time in the summer.
